Fusion Marine Stereos: From the MS-RA60 to the Apollo RA800
Fusion, Garmin's marine audio brand, builds its head units the way the rest of the boat is built: optically bonded displays that stay readable in sun and spray, IPX7 front panels, multi-zone amplification so the cockpit and the cabin get their own volume, and control from a Garmin chartplotter, a quatix watch or the Garmin Audio app. The range runs from the compact, economical MS-RA60 through the DIN-size MS-RA70, the DSP-equipped MS-RA210 and the hideaway MS-BB100, up to the Apollo series with AirPlay 2, PartyBus networking and built-in Wi-Fi: the RA670, the touchscreen RA770, the hideaway WB675, the SRX400 zone stereo and the 2025 flagship Apollo RA800.
At DiveCatalog.com we carry Fusion stereos and stereo-and-speaker kits as an authorized Garmin dealer. Specifications below come from Garmin's official product pages, owner's manuals and press releases.

The Lineup in Detail
Fusion MS-RA60: The Entry Point (May 2021)
Garmin's words: an "economical marine stereo that features a modern aesthetic, Multi-Zone Technology, and advanced connectivity options." The RA60 is a Class-D unit rated 22 watts RMS into four speakers across two zones, with AM, FM, Bluetooth and an aux input, a 2.3-inch anti-fog monochrome display, IPX6 and IPX7 protection at the front panel, and control from the Garmin Audio app, a compatible chartplotter or a Garmin watch, with over-the-air updates. It drops into the older MS-RA55 cutout. The RA60 and EL speaker kit adds a pair of 6.5-inch EL Series speakers, an antenna and wiring in one box.
Fusion MS-RA70 Series: DIN-Size Value
A standard DIN-size chassis with an included mounting plate, 26 watts RMS into four speakers across two zones, a 2.6-inch bonded display, and AM, FM, Bluetooth, USB and aux. The RA70N adds an NMEA 2000 port for chartplotter control and NRX remote support, and the RA70NSX adds SiriusXM readiness with the optional tuner. IPX7 at the front panel.
Fusion MS-RA210: Compact with Built-In DSP
Garmin describes the RA210 as a compact stereo that incorporates "some of the Apollo Series' key features," chiefly Fusion DSP, which optimizes the signal for your speakers and amplifier through profiles set once in the Garmin Audio app. It delivers 26 watts RMS into four speakers across two zones with separate subwoofer outputs per zone, a 2.7-inch color display, AM, FM, Bluetooth, USB and aux with SiriusXM readiness, an NMEA 2000 port, NRX remote support and Speed vs Volume, which raises volume with boat speed from NMEA 2000 data. IPX6 and IPX7 at the front panel.
Fusion MS-BB100: The Black Box
For helms with no room for a stereo face, the BB100 hides the 26 watt RMS, two-zone amplifier and tuner in a dash or locker and puts an IPX7 wired remote at the helm. AM, FM, Bluetooth, USB and aux, NMEA 2000 and NRX remote support, and chartplotter, app and watch control.
Apollo MS-RA670 and MS-RA770: The Premium Standard
The Apollo series is Fusion's premium line, and the RA670 and RA770 share the same engine: 26 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms or 43 watts into 2 ohms, 280 watts peak, Fusion DSP, Apple AirPlay 2, a digital optical input, USB, aux, SiriusXM readiness, NMEA 2000 and Ethernet, Speed vs Volume, True-Marine construction tested against salt fog, temperature, vibration and UV, and IPX6 and IPX7 at the face. The RA670 runs three zones with a 2.7-inch color display and PartyBus over wired Ethernet. The RA770, which Garmin calls the world's first touchscreen marine stereo with AirPlay 2 and built-in Wi-Fi, runs four zones, two aux inputs, and PartyBus wired or wireless.
Apollo MS-WB675 Hideaway (January 2023)
The RA770's electronics without the face: four zones, 26 watts RMS per channel (43 at 2 ohms), DSP, AirPlay 2, optical, USB, aux, SiriusXM readiness, NMEA 2000, Ethernet and wired PartyBus in a 5.1-inch square box that nests inside a console or glovebox. Control comes from the Apollo ERX400 wired remote, an NRX remote, a Garmin chartplotter or watch, or the app.
Apollo MS-SRX400 Zone Stereo
Garmin calls it "a perfect companion to Apollo RA770." The SRX400 is a one-zone stereo with 26 watts RMS per channel (43 at 2 ohms), a 2.7-inch color display, AM, FM, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 and UPnP, built-in Wi-Fi, DSP and PartyBus, so it can join an RA770 wirelessly as an extra zone on the bow or the swim platform, or stand alone on a smaller boat.
Apollo MS-RA800: The Flagship (June 2025)
Garmin's most powerful Fusion stereo. A built-in Class D amplifier rated 40 watts RMS per channel, a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen on a processor eight times faster than the previous generation, Bluetooth 5.3, AirPlay 2, HDMI ARC for a cabin TV, USB-C playback of lossless FLAC, ALAC and WAV, a built-in DAB and DAB+ tuner, two aux inputs, four zones with pre-outs and sub-outs on each, DSP, PartyBus wired or wireless over built-in Wi-Fi, NMEA 2000, Ethernet and Garmin BlueNet, and 12 or 24 volt operation. It is a drop-in replacement for the RA770 and RA670 with the same mounting and connections, and it carries Fusion's 3-year warranty.
Fusion Features Explained
Multi-zone: independent volume per area of the boat; zone counts above show how many the stereo supports with its internal amp and pre-outs.
Fusion DSP: Garmin's words: "optimizes the audio signal delivered to your Fusion system to produce superior sound quality at all volume levels," set once through speaker and amplifier profiles in the Garmin Audio app.
PartyBus: networks compatible Apollo stereos over Ethernet or Wi-Fi so they play synchronized audio across the vessel or run separate sources, with volume and power control from any networked stereo or ERX400 remote.
Fusion-Link: control from a Garmin chartplotter (NMEA 2000, Ethernet or BlueNet), the Garmin Audio app on a phone, or a Garmin quatix or other compatible watch over ANT.
True-Marine: Fusion's design and test standard against salt fog, temperature, vibration, UV and water, backed by a 3-year warranty on Apollo and other True-Marine products.

Frequently Asked Questions: Fusion Stereos
Which Fusion stereos have AirPlay 2?
The Apollo series: RA670, RA770, RA800, SRX400 and WB675. The RA770, RA800 and SRX400 have built-in Wi-Fi; the RA670 and WB675 reach AirPlay through an Ethernet connection to a Wi-Fi router, a Wi-Fi-equipped Apollo stereo or a Garmin chartplotter.
What is the difference between the Apollo RA770 and RA800?
The RA800 adds a 4.3-inch higher-resolution touchscreen, a faster processor, 40 watts per channel instead of 26, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI ARC, USB-C lossless playback, a built-in DAB+ tuner, Garmin BlueNet and 24 volt support, and it mounts in the RA770's cutout. The RA770 keeps the optical input and SiriusXM readiness.
Can I control a Fusion stereo from my Garmin chartplotter or watch?
Yes. Fusion-Link control works from compatible Garmin chartplotters over NMEA 2000 or Ethernet (BlueNet on the RA800) and from the quatix and other compatible Garmin watches over ANT. The RA60 is the exception for NMEA 2000, controlling from app and watch.
Do I need an external amplifier?
Not for a small system: every stereo here powers four speakers (two on the SRX400). For more zones, bigger speakers or subwoofers, add a Fusion Apollo or Signature Series amplifier on the pre-outs.
