Product Information
The ScubaPro Mouthpiece, Food Grade Vinyl Standard Size, Black is a standard-size replacement regulator mouthpiece (SKU 01.040.131) molded in black food-grade vinyl for scuba second stages and snorkel systems that use a standard mouthpiece connection. It gives you a soft yet durable bite surface with classic bite tabs, so a tired or torn mouthpiece does not end a dive day.
Who it is for
This is for recreational and professional divers who need to refresh a worn, cracked or chewed mouthpiece on a second stage, octopus or snorkel, and for anyone who prefers a standard-size vinyl bite over a larger or softer aftermarket shape. It is also a sensible spare for a save-a-dive kit or for shops and instructors rotating rental and student gear.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this ScubaPro mouthpiece silicone or vinyl?
This one is vinyl. ScubaPro lists SKU 01.040.131 as a vinyl mouthpiece in black, and the DiveCatalog listing specifies food-grade vinyl. ScubaPro does offer a separate silicone mouthpiece under a different part number, so if you specifically want silicone, that is a different item. Call 888-701-4017 and we will point you to the right part.
What regulators does this mouthpiece fit?
It is a standard-size mouthpiece made to fit a wide range of second-stage regulators that accept a standard mouthpiece connection, including octopus second stages and snorkels. ScubaPro does not publish a model-by-model compatibility list for SKU 01.040.131, so tell us your exact regulator model and we will confirm fitment before you buy.
What size is it and does it come in other sizes or colors?
It is standard size and black. That is the only configuration published for SKU 01.040.131, so there is no size or color choice to make at checkout. If you prefer a different bite shape or a comfort-style mouthpiece, contact our Irvine shop and we will review the ScubaPro options with you.
How many mouthpieces come in this order?
ScubaPro publishes this only as a replacement vinyl mouthpiece, SKU 01.040.131, with no included accessories listed. Many divers order two, one to install and one for a save-a-dive kit.
