Product Information
The Suunto Tandem is two precision instruments in one anodized light-alloy housing: a KB-14-class hand-bearing compass on one side and a PM-5-class clinometer on the other. Foresters, surveyors, geologists, and antenna riggers carry one Tandem instead of two instruments — bearing to 1/3°, slope to 1/4°, through the same adjustable-diopter optical sighting system.
The compass side reads a globally balanced, liquid-damped card with azimuth and reversed 360° scales; the clinometer side reads ±90° and ±150% slope with cosine and cotangent conversion tables on the body. Sapphire bearings, tripod mount, lanyard, and a belt-loop nylon pouch complete a field kit that is made in Finland and warranted for 2 years.
