A precision instrument earns a case. This Suunto nylon pouch is the factory protection for Suunto's optical instruments — the KB-14 and KB-20 compasses, PM-5 clinometers, and Tandem combo — and it also fits the MC-2 mirror compass family.
The belt loop keeps the instrument on your hip for all-day field work, the flap keeps grit off the optics between sightings, and the padded nylon takes the knocks a cruise vest or tool bag hands out. The factory replacement for a pouch that has finally worn through.
