Product Information
The Suunto A-10 is the compass to hand a scout, stash in a daypack lid, or keep in the glovebox: a robust, easy-to-use baseplate compass for general recreational navigation, made in Finland with a high-grade steel needle on a jewel bearing inside a liquid-filled capsule that settles fast and reads steady.
The clear baseplate carries centimeter and inch scales with distance helpers for map work, a fixed declination correction scale handles the magnetic-to-true offset, and the detachable snap-lock lanyard pops free when you lay the compass on the map. At 30 grams it disappears in a pocket. Choose the NH version for the northern hemisphere or SH for travel and use south of the equator; both carry Suunto's limited lifetime warranty.
