Product Information
The Sherwood SR3 is a first and second stage regulator set in Sherwood's Phantom finish, offered in Yoke (SRB3000) or DIN (SRB3000D) configuration. Sherwood rates its work of breathing at less than 0.65 joules per liter at 50 msw (165 fsw).
The first stage is a flow-through piston design that is environmentally sealed and internally dry while still providing depth compensation. Sherwood's Three Pin Link (3PL) uses a flat flexible membrane, a metal plate and an internal solid mechanical link to transfer ambient pressure to the piston, which keeps flow consistent at any depth. A two-piece piston controls balance and intermediate pressure. Five low pressure ports sit on a 360 degree swivel, with two high pressure ports on the body.
The pneumatically balanced second stage has a one touch performance adjustment. The Seat Saving Floating Crown (SSFC) extends seat life while the regulator is not in use, and the SMART Demand Lever relieves load on the seat during storage. A flexible purge cover and a super flex hose complete the second stage.
