Product Information
The Shearwater Perdix & Petrel Strap Kit is a pair of replacement elastic wrist straps for the Shearwater Perdix and Petrel dive computers, made from marine grade elastic with simple pinch clip buckles so the computer sits comfortably over a wetsuit or a drysuit. It is sold as a pair and offered in Black and Orange.
Who it is for
This kit is for any Perdix or Petrel owner who wants a spare strap in the save-a-dive kit, needs to replace a worn or stretched strap, or wants to switch to a color accent on their scuba setup. Because the elastic adjusts and the pinch clips release quickly, it suits divers who move between a thin wetsuit in warm water and a bulky drysuit sleeve on the same computer.
Key details
- Material: marine grade elastic with pinch clip buckles
- Quantity: sold as a pair of replacement straps
- Colors: Black (SKU 13312) and Orange (SKU 13313)
- Fit: adjustable over a wetsuit or a drysuit
Compatibility and sizing
The straps are specified by Shearwater for the Perdix and the Petrel dive computers. The elastic construction handles the adjustment, so there is no separate strap length to choose: pick the color you want and set the length with the pinch clips. If you are not certain which Shearwater model you own, check the back of the housing or send us a photo and we will confirm before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Shearwater dive computers does this strap kit fit?
Shearwater specifies this kit for the Perdix and the Petrel dive computers. The straps are marine grade elastic with pinch clip buckles and are sold as a pair. If you own a different Shearwater model and are unsure whether these straps are the right part, contact us at 888-701-4017 before ordering and we will confirm the correct strap for your computer.
How many straps come in the kit?
The kit includes a pair of replacement straps, which is what Shearwater publishes for this part. Many divers keep a second kit in their save-a-dive box, since an elastic strap is one of the easier items to lose or stretch out over seasons of diving.
Do the straps fit over a drysuit?
Yes. The marine grade elastic and pinch clip buckles are designed to give a comfortable, adjustable fit whether you are diving in a wetsuit or a drysuit. You set the length with the pinch clips, so the same strap can be shortened for a thin warm water wetsuit sleeve and lengthened for a bulkier drysuit arm.
What colors are available and do they have different part numbers?
The strap kit comes in Black and Orange. Black is SKU 13312 and Orange is SKU 13313, so you can order the stock look or add a high visibility color accent to your Perdix or Petrel. Choose your color from the option selector on this page; both versions use the same marine grade elastic and pinch clip buckles.
