Spare power for a pocket-sized dive light should never be an afterthought. This Xtar 18650 lithium-ion cell, supplied by SeaLife as part number SL9823, delivers a true 4000mAh at 3.6 volts - the capacity the Sea Dragon Mini 600, 650, 900, 1000, 1200, 1300, and 1600 dive lights are designed around - so a charged spare in your save-a-dive kit turns into a full second dive's worth of light instead of a dim finish. It also works in other dive lights and devices built for 18650 cells.
The cell carries a built-in overcharge and over-discharge protection circuit plus short-circuit protection, and supports up to 10A of discharge current, comfortably more than a mini dive light draws at full power. At 50 grams and standard 18650 dimensions of 18.5mm x 68.5mm, it adds almost nothing to a travel kit. Recharge it with SeaLife's Xtar Mini USB charger or any quality 18650 charger. Lithium batteries ship by ground only - no air transport.
