Product Information
Color is the first casualty of depth, and no amount of grading rescues footage shot under a patchy, blue-shifted beam. The OrcaTorch D910V attacks the problem at the source: a chip-on-board CREE LED array produces 5000 lumens of 5700K neutral white light with a CRI of 92, spread through a 120-degree wide-angle beam with no hot spot. Reds stay red, skin tones stay honest, and the even wash covers the full frame of a wide lens. The same qualities that serve videographers make it a favorite of commercial divers - it mounts to most full-face mask brackets - and cave explorers who want a wall of light rather than a pencil.
Like its sibling D900V, the D910V charges magnetically: the cable snaps onto the housing and the internal 12.6V 38Wh pack (three 18650 cells) is full in about 2.5 hours, with no battery compartment to open and no O-ring to risk. A titanium-alloy switch steps through three output modes, an LED indicator shows remaining charge, and a safe lock prevents it from firing in a camera bag. Construction is A6061-T6 aluminum with Mil-Spec Type III hard anodizing, depth rated to 150 meters. Ball joint, home charger, magnetic cable, rubber ring, and spare O-rings are included.
