Product Information
Signaling a buddy, pointing out a nudibranch to a student, or marking a line tie-off usually means waving your whole light around and hoping they follow. The OrcaTorch D570-RL solves that with two independent light sources in one compact aluminum body: a 1500-lumen white beam focused to a tight 8 degrees for distance, and a red laser pointer with over 1000 meters of reach on land. The two can be controlled independently, so you can run the laser alone for up to 80 hours of precise pointing, or bring up the white beam when you need to light the scene itself. It is the red-laser version of the OrcaTorch D570-GL.
A side button switch with a battery level indicator keeps operation simple, and the light includes overheat, over-discharge, and reverse-polarity protection. The body is constructed from A6061-T6 aluminum with a Mil-Spec Type III hard-anodized finish and toughened glass coated on both sides, and the whole package is depth rated to 150 meters. It comes with one or two USB-C rechargeable 18650 batteries, depending on the option you choose. With two, a charged spare is always ready for the second dive of the day.

Frequently Asked Questions
How are the white light and the red laser controlled?
The D570-RL has two light sources, a 1500-lumen white beam with an 8-degree angle and a red laser, and OrcaTorch says they can be controlled independently. Both are operated from the side button switch. That lets you use the laser to point something out to a buddy or student, and use the white beam when you need to light the scene.
How long does the OrcaTorch D570-RL run on one charge?
OrcaTorch rates the red laser at about 80 hours on one charge. The white light uses much more power and runs for under 2 hours at its full 1500-lumen output. Runtime depends on which source you use and for how long. With the 2-battery option, you can carry a charged spare and swap cells between dives.
How do you charge the batteries?
Each OrcaTorch 18650 3400 mAh lithium-ion cell has a built-in USB-C charging port, so you charge the battery itself with the included USB-C cable rather than needing a separate external charger. The light also includes over-discharge and reverse polarity protection. A battery level indicator in the side switch button shows remaining charge.
How deep is the D570-RL rated, and how big is it?
The D570-RL is waterproof to 150 m (492 ft) and rated for 1 m impact resistance. It measures 134 mm long with a 26 mm diameter tube and a 40 mm head. The body is aluminum with a hard-anodized, corrosion-resistant finish and toughened glass coated on both sides.
