Product Information
Every diver needs a light that just works, dive after dive, without menus or electronics to second-guess. The OrcaTorch D520 is that light: a palm-sized torch operated by a mechanical rotary head - twist on, twist off - with nothing electronic to fail at depth. Its CREE XM-L2 (U4) LED puts out up to 1000 lumens of 5000K neutral white, a color temperature that penetrates water cleanly and keeps colors honest, through a beam that reaches 250 meters on land. Compact enough for a BC pocket, it serves equally well as a recreational primary or a technical backup.
The D520 runs up to 2 hours on the included USB-C rechargeable 18650 battery and also accepts two CR123A or two 16340 cells in a pinch - handy flexibility when traveling. The A6061-T6 aluminum body is hard anodized against corrosion, sealed to a 150-meter depth rating, and protected against reverse polarity and over-discharge. At 129 grams it disappears in a kit bag. The box includes the 18650 USB-C battery, a USB-C charging cable, lanyard, and three spare O-rings.
