Garmin Tacx NEO Bike Plus Smart Trainer Bike

The NEO Bike Plus is a complete indoor bike rather than a trainer you attach a bike to, and everything about it is built for riders who train inside often enough that setup time matters. There is no chain, no cassette and no drivetrain wear, because resistance comes from 32 neodymium magnets driving a virtual flywheel.

That motor system produces up to 2200 W of resistance, up to 88 Nm of torque and simulates gradients to 25%, with variable mass inertia to 125 kg so that a heavy rider on a climb feels like a heavy rider on a climb. Power accuracy is stated within 1% and the unit needs no calibration at any point.

Gearing is virtual and configurable to Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo operation, and crank length adjusts across 165, 167.5, 170, 172.5 and 175 mm so the fit can be matched to your outdoor bike. A 4.5-inch integrated display shows ride data on the bike itself, and ANT+ and Bluetooth carry data out to phones, tablets, bike computers and training apps.
