Product Information
The Forerunner 965 is Garmin's AMOLED running and triathlon watch with a titanium bezel. The 1.4 in (35.4 mm) display runs at 454 x 454 pixels with an optional always-on mode, behind a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 DX lens. The watch measures 47.2 x 47.2 x 13.2 mm, weighs 53 g, fits wrists from 135 mm to 205 mm and is rated to 5 ATM.
Battery life runs up to 23 days in smartwatch mode. In GPS-only mode without music it reaches up to 31 hours; with SatIQ automatic satellite selection, up to 22 hours; with all systems and multi-band enabled, up to 19 hours. Playing music reduces those figures to 10.5, 9.5 and 8.5 hours respectively.
Onboard memory is 32 GB, which covers full-colour built-in mapping and music storage. Training data includes training readiness, an improved training status, sleep score and insights, and Pulse Ox blood oxygen with spot checks plus optional all-day acclimation and overnight readings. Garmin Pay handles contactless payment, and swim tracking covers pool and open-water sessions.
Three colourways are offered, each pairing the bezel finish with a matching silicone band: Whitestone with Powder Gray, Black with Powder Gray, and Amp Yellow with Black.
Compatibility: 22 mm QuickFit bands. Charging uses the Garmin proprietary plug charger.
