Product Information

The Scubapro Compact Plastic Pressure Gauge with Rubber U-Line Boot and HP Hose is an economical submersible pressure gauge sold complete with its rubber U-Line boot and high-pressure hose, built around a lightweight plastic case with a fluorescent dial. This is the metric version, item 05.012.112, reading 0 to 400 bar in a compact 1-gauge configuration.

Who it is for

It suits recreational and technical divers who want a simple, dedicated tank pressure readout rather than a multi-instrument console. Because it ships as a complete gauge, boot and HP hose package, it works well as a first setup for a new regulator, as a backup gauge, or as a replacement for a worn gauge on an existing console. Divers who read pressure in bar should choose this metric version; the Imperial PSI version is a separate item, 05.012.122.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this Scubapro pressure gauge read in bar or PSI?

This listing is the metric version, item 05.012.112 (UPC 4048336331371), and the dial reads 0 to 400 bar. Scubapro also offers the same gauge in Imperial as item 05.012.122 (UPC 4048336331388), which reads 0 to 6000 PSI. If you train and dive using bar, this is the version to choose; if you prefer PSI, ask us about the Imperial item instead.

Does the gauge come with a hose, or do I need to buy one separately?

It comes complete. Scubapro sells this compact plastic-case gauge with the HP (high-pressure) hose and the rubber U-Line boot included, so no separate hose purchase is needed for a standard setup. The HP hose connects to a high-pressure port on your regulator first stage, and the U-Line boot protects the gauge body.

Can I build a console around this gauge?

Yes. The gauge mounts in the included rubber U-Line boot and is listed as suitable for scuba diving and dive consoles. As supplied it is a 1-gauge configuration focused on tank pressure. Contact DiveCatalog.com at 888-701-4017 to confirm which console add-ons fit your setup.

Is this gauge suitable for technical diving?

Scubapro lists the activity rating for this gauge as recreational and technical diving. The compact plastic case keeps weight to 0.55 lb (0.249 kg) and overall size to 5.04 x 2.17 x 1.06 in, and the fluorescent dial aids readability in low light. The metric dial reads 0 to 400 bar.

Nice basic SPG; fairly rugged at a good price.

I have two of these on different regulators and have been diving one quite a few times. It works well and is holding up well so far. I just bought a second one for a MK11 that I use with the Scubapro full face mask at work.
