This package puts together the pieces of an OMS backplate-and-wing rig: the OMS Deep Ocean Wing 2.0, an OMS backplate with SmartStream harness and crotch strap, and an OMS stainless steel Single Tank Adapter (STA) hardware kit. You choose how the backplate and harness are configured, picking a stainless steel or aluminum backplate paired with either the SmartStream harness or Comfort Harness III, so the rig gets set up the way you actually want to dive it.
The Deep Ocean Wing 2.0 is built around an interior retraction band system: tighten the bungees and lift drops to 48 lb (21.7 kg) with the air cell held tight against the cylinders, loosen them and the wing opens to 60 lb (27 kg). That range is what lets the same wing cover a single cylinder or twin steel doubles instead of needing a separate wing for each setup. The outer bag is 1000 denier nylon with an interior urethane backing, built to take abrasion from the backplate, boat decks, or cave walls, with a 16 in inflator hose routed over the left shoulder and dump valves on the lower left and upper right so you can vent gas whether you're upright or inverted.
The SmartStream harness runs as one continuous length of 2 in nylon webbing (11.5 ft / 3.5 m total) with 316 stainless steel D-rings and a sewn crotch strap, letting you position weight pockets or a canister light where they work best for you. If your build calls for a single tank adapter, the included stainless steel STA hardware kit mounts onto the backplate and is compatible with OMS harnesses, the OMS IQ Backpack, and many metal backplates, with all mounting hardware included.
