The M1 first stage is built around a chrome-plated brass body with Monel internal components and an Atomic Jet Seat high-flow piston, and it's freeze-protected and factory sealed to keep silt and sand out. It carries 2 fixed HP ports and 5 LP ports on a swivel cap for hose routing, and it's factory-ready for Nitrox to 50% or oxygen mixes to 80% when you follow the manufacturer's guidelines. You can choose the first stage as Yoke Sealed or Din Sealed to match your tank valve.
The M1 Octopus shares the same core M1 technology as the primary, including the Titanium Seat Saving Dynamic Orifice and Automatic Flow Control with a Rapid Adjustment Knob for manual tuning. Its Zirconium-plated brass valve body includes a thermal heat sink to help resist freezing in cold water, and the 36-inch hose with neon-yellow front cover makes it easy to spot and reach as a backup. A patented Comfort Swivel gives about 30 degrees of rotation so the hose won't bind, pull, or kink while you're diving.
