This package puts three matched Apeks pieces together: the WTX-D30 Complete BCD in S/S Black/Grey UV, the MTX-RC regulator, and the XTX40 octopus. The WTX-D30 uses Apeks' donut-style single cylinder wing, an oval-shaped air cell that lets your tank sit deep inside the wing for better trim and balance, and it integrates with the Apeks WTX harness system, plates, and accessories if you want to build out a modular setup later.
The MTX-RC regulator is built around a satin plated brass first stage with heat-exchanging ribs and an over-moulded endcap and environmental diaphragm that help prevent ice build-up in cold water. It comes with 5 medium pressure ports (4 on a rotating turret) and 2 angled high pressure ports for flexible hose routing, plus your choice of DIN, Yoke, or M26 Thread configuration, and user controls on the second stage let you adjust breathing performance to your preference.
Rounding out the set, the XTX40 octopus pairs a pneumatically balanced second stage with a braided flexi-hose and high-visibility yellow housing, and it's compatible with EAN40 out of the box. Together with the MTX-RC, it gives you a coordinated primary and backup breathing setup alongside the WTX-D30's buoyancy control, all from Apeks.
