Product Information

The Hollis DX-300X is an expedition-grade technical drysuit built for demanding conditions, with Nylon Cordura shell, 12-layer Butyl Mass core, and patented BIAS cut.

Who it is for

This drysuit was designed by technical divers, for technical divers, and developed over three years of testing in demanding conditions. It suits divers needing a durable, long-wearing suit for expedition diving in demanding conditions where leak resistance, range of motion and reliable seals matter.

Key details

The shell and liner combination delivers warmth, mobility, and durability at an overall material weight of 700 g per square unit, with a tear strength that exceeds 300 N. The suit uses a YKK low-profile zipper and user-replaceable SiTech silicone neck and wrist seals, along with a chest-mounted inflator valve and a shoulder-mounted exhaust valve for buoyancy control. Wide flat seam construction reduces high-risk leak areas, and the suit includes 3M reflective safety strips.

  • Outer shell: heavy-duty Nylon Cordura
  • Core: 12-layer Butyl Mass
  • Inner liner: silk weave polyester
  • Kneepads: double-thickness 5mm neoprene
  • Socks: 5mm neoprene
  • Pockets: two large Velcro thigh pockets with 2 inch D-rings
  • Suspenders: adjustable

Compatibility and sizing

The DX-300X is available in XS, S, M, ML, L, XL, 2XL, and 3XL. Adjustable suspenders help tailor the fit across these sizes for a range of body types and layering needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a drysuit cost?

Drysuit cost varies based on brand, materials, and technical features, and the DX-300X is positioned as an expedition-grade suit built with premium materials like a Nylon Cordura shell and a 12-layer Butyl Mass core. For current availability and fit guidance on this model, call DiveCatalog.com at 888-701-4017 or start a chat with the team.

What sizes does the Hollis DX-300X come in?

The DX-300X is offered in XS, S, M, ML, L, XL, 2XL, and 3XL. The suit also includes adjustable suspenders so divers can fine-tune the fit across different body types and base layer thicknesses within each size.

Can I replace the neck and wrist seals on the DX-300X myself?

Yes. The DX-300X uses SiTech silicone neck and wrist seals that are designed to be user-replaceable, so divers can swap damaged or worn seals without sending the suit to a repair center, keeping the drysuit mission-ready for expedition diving.

What kind of inflator and exhaust valves does the DX-300X use?

The DX-300X is equipped with a chest-mounted inflator valve and a shoulder-mounted exhaust valve, giving divers standard buoyancy control placement that is common on technical expedition drysuits for easy reach during a dive.

So far so good

So far so good. The suit fits really well. Is very comfortable.
Don't make a stupid mistake that I did, make sure you look in the tech pockets for all the paperwork on the suit. I did not look in the pockets so all the paperwork went with me on my first dive with a suit🤪

I have owned ma...

I have owned many drysuits in the past. I originally picked up this one to be a back-up/traveling suit but I think this is now my goto drysuit. It is light and comfortable, easy to get on. The zipper is fantastic. It glides easily and has a low profile so it is less likely to catch on harnesses and accessories. The new oval wrist cuffs make getting my big hands in and out a breeze while still reducung the overall girth of the cuff. I am a big fan of silicone seals as well. I think Hollis really has a winner here.
