Product Information
The Fusion Signature Series 2250-Watt Monoblock Marine Amplifier is a single-channel Class D amplifier built to drive marine subwoofers, rated at 500 watts RMS into 4 ohms and 850 watts RMS into 2 ohms at 14.4 volts. Garmin notes it can be configured for a 1-ohm load for additional output.
Signal shaping is handled on board: a variable low-pass crossover runs from 32 to 320 Hz, a variable high-pass (subsonic) filter from 10 to 80 Hz, and a variable bass boost is built in. Input sensitivity is user adjustable from 0.3 to 8 volts RMS.
The chassis is a single die-cast aluminum alloy heat sink with a calculated fin layout, and a polished stainless-steel cover conceals the connections and controls. Circuit boards are conformal coated, the amplifier is built to Fusion's True-Marine standard for salt fog, temperature, vibration and UV, and it is protected by three SAE J1171-compliant 40 A blade fuses. Garmin backs it with a 3-year warranty.
