The DiveCatalog Rubber Tank Valve Protector is a flexible cover that fits over the valve opening of a scuba cylinder to keep dust, dirt, and moisture out when the tank is not in use. Keeping contaminants out of the valve helps protect the internal threads and O-ring surfaces, and reduces the risk of debris entering the cylinder or reaching the regulator first stage on the next fill or assembly.
The rubber construction stretches over standard scuba tank valves and grips securely, staying in place during transport and storage where knocks and vibration are most likely to introduce grit. It removes easily by hand when the tank is ready to be used.
