The mini Scubapro Hydros Pro 2 Monorail Weight Pockets are fantastic, but I also really like the longer Standard weight pockets. The longer pockets with the longer plastic interface with the Pro 2 monorail seem to detach smoother. That extra interface length just feels like it disengages more cleanly.
What I like most is the balance and control. The pockets sit firmly and don’t feel like they’ll shift around during the dive, which gives me confidence when I’m doing buoyancy adjustments. They’re easy to work with on the surface, making it simple to dial in my trim before entering the water.
Overall, these weight pockets feel like a thoughtful, purpose-built piece of gear. They appear to be well made, nicely designed, and improve the feel of the BCD.
