Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Standard and XL Snapper Clip?
They are the same design in two sizes. The Standard version is SKU 28.555.000 and measures 5.12 in long by 3.54 in wide by 0.98 in high at 0.1499 lb. The XL, or extra-large, version is SKU 28.556.000. Both use a stainless steel core with a clip on one end and an adjustable loop on the other. The manufacturer publishes dimensions for the Standard size only, so XL is simply the extra-large version of the same design.
How does the Scubapro Snapper Clip work underwater?
It has a clip on one end and an adjustable loop on the other; unclip the buckles and the snapper extends for quick access.
Will the stainless steel core rust in salt water?
Scubapro specifies a stainless steel core precisely for corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability. Scubapro lists it for recreational diving, snorkeling, freediving, technical diving and professional services. As with all dive hardware, rinse it in fresh water after each day of diving and allow it to dry fully before storage to keep it working smoothly.
What can I attach to the Snapper Clip?
Scubapro designed it for securing cameras and lights during diving, using the adjustable loop on one end and the clip on the other.
