Sola Dive Lights offer premiere performance and proven reliability in a compact, travel-friendly design. The Dive 2000 S/F features a powerful dual beam design with 2000 lumens in a 60° flood and a 600 lumen 12° spot beam ideal for wide-angle reef illumination and illuminating crevices and overhangs. Light is certified to the FL-1 Standard. Regulated output eliminates dimming during use. A powerful LED array using the best CREE LEDs and enhanced firmware. Colored battery and mode indicator lights make it easy to manage battery life. Factory-sealed design provides long-term reliability. External charge interface for simple, hassle-free charging. 2-amp charger included for fast and easy recharge of the lithium-ion battery. CREE LEDs with a color temperature of 6000°-6500° Kelvin and optimized firmware.
The battery compartment is completely sealed, and a thick ring around the base of the light head protects the contacts. The light provides 2000 lumens of brightness in high-mode, 1000 lumens in med-mode and 500 lumens in low-mode in 60° flood beam mode. The light provides 600 lumens of brightness in high-mode, 300 lumens in med-mode and 150 lumens in low-mode in 12° spot beam mode. The light has a burn time of 60° flood/12° spot: 55/110-muintes in high-mode, 110/220-muintes of burn time in med-mode and 220/440-muintes of burn time in low-mode. Light is depth rated to 330' (100m). Light has a 2.5-hour charge time, and with the included 2-amp charger. Light weighs 8.9 oz. How long will a dive light run on one charge?
Burn time and brightness trade directly against each other, so the same battery run at a lower power setting lasts substantially longer. How do I care for the o-rings on a dive light?
The o-rings sealing the battery compartment are what keep the light from flooding, so inspect them for grit, hair, and nicks every time you open it, and wipe the sealing surfaces clean. Lubricate lightly with the grease type the manufacturer specifies, using a thin film rather than a heavy coat, because excess grease attracts sand.
