The Vyper Novo itself is built for a range of diving missions, with a 3D tilt-compensated digital compass, gas switching between up to three gases (oxygen up to 99%), a built-in dive planner, and the Suunto RGBM full continuous decompression algorithm. Pair it with the Wireless Tank Pressure Transmitter before your dive and you'll see current tank pressure and remaining air time right on your wrist; the transmitter's green LED confirms it's powered on, and Suunto rates its battery at about 2 years based on 100 dives per year.

Once you're back on the boat or at home, the included USB interface cable connects the Vyper Novo to Suunto DM5 software on PC or Mac, so you can download detailed logs and review your dives. The cable also works with Suunto's Zoop Novo and D-series computers, though it's not compatible with the Suunto D5.
