Product Information
The Shearwater Swift GPS is a wireless air integration transmitter with a built-in GNSS receiver that captures dive site coordinates at the surface. Mounted on a regulator first stage high-pressure port, it transmits tank pressure to any current Shearwater air-integrated dive computer, including the Perdix AI, Perdix 2, Petrel 3, NERD 2, Teric, Tern TX, and Peregrine TX. At the same time, it records GPS coordinates for dive entry and exit points, so dive sites are logged automatically without a separate device. GPS positioning works at the surface only; satellite signals do not function underwater.
The GNSS receiver supports the GPS L1C/A, Galileo E1B/C, and BeiDou B1I constellations with 2 m location resolution and condition-dependent accuracy of approximately 4 m. Captured coordinates and dive logs are viewed through the Dive Shearwater app, which the Swift GPS is built to work with exclusively. A user-replaceable CR2 3V lithium battery provides up to about 100 dive hours, based on one-hour dives with 20 minutes of GNSS on-time before and after each dive, or roughly 2 years of storage. The transmitter is depth rated to 200 m, installs tool-free on a 7/16-inch-20 UNF port, and shares the same compact 76 mm x 34 mm, 135 g form factor as the standard Swift.
