Product Information
Most underwater shooters end up carrying two or three lights: a wide video light, a spot for signaling, and a red or UV source for skittish subjects and fluoro work. The OrcaTorch D900V folds all four into one housing. A neutral white 120-degree flood delivers 2200 lumens of even video illumination, a cool white 8-degree spot throws 820 lumens out to 230 meters, and dedicated red and UV sources let you approach marine life without spooking it or reveal biofluorescence on a night dive. Two titanium-alloy switches control the sources independently, so you move between modes without cycling through the ones you do not want.
The D900V also introduced OrcaTorch's magnetic fast-charging system: snap the magnetic cable onto the tail and the internal 11.1V 38Wh battery pack (three 18650 cells) recharges in about 2.5 hours without ever opening the housing - one less O-ring to flood. Dual LED indicators report battery and charging status, a safe lock prevents accidental activation, and the A6061-T6 aluminum body with Mil-Spec Type III hard anodizing is depth rated to 150 meters. A ball joint for standard arm systems, home charger, magnetic cable, spare O-rings, and rubber ring come in the box.
