Product Information

The OrcaTorch D710V MK2 is a compact underwater video light with three light sources in one head: a 2300-lumen white LED with a 120-degree beam for even photo and video lighting, a red light for approaching light-sensitive marine life at night, and three UV LEDs for fluorescence diving and macro subjects. Compared with the original D710V, the MK2 has about 30% more white output and three UV LEDs instead of one.

Output settings are White High (2300 lumens, about 1 hour 20 minutes), White Low (750 lumens, about 2 hours 40 minutes), Red (150 lumens, about 4 hours 10 minutes) and UV (10 lumens, about 2 hours 30 minutes). A titanium alloy button with an anti-mislock function prevents accidental activation, and a battery status indicator shows the remaining charge.

The light runs on an OrcaTorch 21700 5000 mAh battery with a built-in USB-C charging port that takes about 4 hours 30 minutes for a full charge. A ZJ18 ball joint bracket is included for mounting on camera trays and arms. The light is about 145.8 mm (5.7 in) long, weighs 145 g without the battery, and is depth rated to 150 m (492 ft) with triple O-ring seals.

Great cutter, the case could be better

The cutter is great. I appreciate that it’s Titanium instead of steal and it has a line cutter and a serrated edge. It gives me peace of mind to have both methods of cutting.

The case initially looks great. It can either go on the waist belt or shoulder harness. The problem is the loop for the belt is too wide so it moves around a lot. It was annoying. I ended up moving it to my harness on my right shoulder. It doesn’t move there. So not the end of the word and I still give it 5 stars.

I really love the flexibility of the D-mask

I really love the flexibility of the D-mask. The user can replace any component. The cat ate the nose pocket out of my wife’s mask. Rather than scrap the whole thing I bought the replacement skirt and had it installed in minutes. Also put the available Scubapro replacement bifocal lenses in it for her. Overall it’s a little investment up front for the mask but replacement/upgrade parts are pretty reasonable.
