Product Information

The Open Box Oceanic SWIV Compass for Pro Plus & Pro Plus-2 Dive Computers adds navigation to your scuba gear and diving setup, integrating with Oceanic Pro Plus computers for complete instrumentation. This compact instrument is designed for reliable performance in demanding underwater environments while keeping a streamlined profile on your console.

The dual-purpose compass features a side scan window with a luminescent display that presents large, easy-to-read bearing indicators for gun-sight accuracy. For divers who prefer relative navigation, the ratchet bezel rotates smoothly even with thick neoprene gloves, allowing quick adjustments without removing your dive focus.

Frequently Asked Questions

What dive computers is the Oceanic SWIV Compass compatible with?

The Oceanic SWIV Compass is built to mount directly to the Oceanic Pro Plus and Pro Plus II dive computer console. It is not listed as compatible with other Oceanic console models, so confirm your console model before ordering.

What is included with the Oceanic SWIV Compass kit?

The kit includes the SWIV Compass itself along with a durable rubber mounting boot, a bracket, and screws needed to attach it to a Pro Plus or Pro Plus II console.

Can the SWIV Compass be read from the side as well as the top?

Yes. The SWIV Compass has both top reading and side reading capability, including a side scan window that provides gun-sight accuracy for divers who prefer sighting a bearing rather than reading from directly above.

How precise are the heading markings on the SWIV Compass?

The compass shows headings in 30 numbered increments with indicator marks for every 10, plus a precision jeweled bearing and strong magnets.
