Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Ocean Reef SL35TX INT compatible with masks other than Ocean Reef IDMs?
This first stage is designed and built specifically for use with Ocean Reef integrated diving masks (IDMs). It is not published as compatible with other mask brands, so it should be used as part of an Ocean Reef IDM air delivery setup.
What is the difference between the SL35TX INT and the DIN version?
The SL35TX INT (SKU 9922) uses a standard INT/Yoke connection rated to 200 to 232 bar. Ocean Reef also sells the SL 35 TX DIN 300 Bar (SKU 9923), which has the same balanced diaphragm construction and specifications but uses a DIN connection rated to 300 bar instead.
Is the SL35TX INT first stage good for cold water diving?
Yes. It includes an anti-freeze kit and is suitable for cold water use below 10°C for dependable performance in low temperatures.
What is included when you buy the SL35TX INT first stage?
The SL35TX INT first stage ships as the standalone 1st Stage SL 35 TX INT unit (SKU 9922). It is intended to be connected to an Ocean Reef integrated diving mask (IDM) setup, which is sold separately.
