Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Extender Kit come with the Space Extender mask?
Yes. The Extender Kit, including the frame, NACS, and earphone supports, ships as standard equipment on the Space Extender and the Space Extender 100 (O2 compatible version). Divers upgrading an older GDivers, Neptune Space, or Raptor mask (2006 to 2015) can add the kit separately as a retrofit.
Can the earphone supports be used for anything other than earphones?
Yes. Beyond holding earphones for the GSM G-Power SL communication unit, each support has pre-defined drill points for installing side lights, and the same support can hold a sport camera for an on-board viewpoint. They also rotate at a 30 degree angle for positioning.
Which Ocean Reef masks work with the Extender Kit?
The kit fits the Gdivers basic model IDM and any Ocean Reef full face scuba mask built from 2006 onward that uses a nylon clamping band. This covers GDivers, Neptune Space, and Raptor models from 2006 to 2015, and the kit is standard on Space Extender masks.
How many earphone supports are included in the kit?
The kit includes two earphone supports, along with the frame and the NACS (Neptune Adjustable Communication Support) unit. Both supports rotate at a 30 degree angle and can hold either earphones for the GSM G-Power SL unit or a sport camera.
