I miss placed one of my Hollis weight pouches in 100fsw and was happy to find a replacement (in an new/open box) here on divecatalog. Never ordered from them before and was very happy with shipping and communication!
When I received it, all was well, I packed the weights and then went diving and found out the security strap was backwards... On my old set the pouch mounts with the "hard" side in towards the waist, the strap folds over and clips to the pocket on the harness. On the new one, the "hard" side is away from the waist in order to clip in. Seemed secure and had no problems on the dive.
Maybe I ordered the wrong pouch although everything else (color, strap, tag, etc) is the same, just the clip is backwards.
It worked fine, just doesn't install like the other. Not worth the hassle of returning it after I used it, and it does work. Wonder if that's why it was in an open box.
Like I said above, the communication, shipping and price were great! Solid company!
