Does the Akona Globetrotter come with dive gear included?
No. The Globetrotter is sold as a bag only under SKU AKB387. It is designed to carry a regulator, octopus, dive computer, BC, fins, mask and snorkel, but none of that equipment is included. The interior is sized so the AKONA Pro Reg Bag can sit in the bottom, and that reg bag is also a separate item.
How big is the Globetrotter dive bag?
The Globetrotter has a 58 liter volume with exterior dimensions of 21 inches high by 12 inches wide by 14 inches deep. That is enough room for a regulator, octopus, computer, BC, mask and snorkel inside, with fins carried outside under the compression straps. It ships in a single size, so there are no size options to select.
How do fins attach to the Globetrotter?
Fins ride on the outside of the pack. Akona builds the Globetrotter with compression straps specifically designed to secure your fins to the exterior, which keeps the 58 liter main compartment free for your BC, regulator bag, mask and snorkel. This is what allows a full recreational gear set to travel in one backpack.
What warranty covers the Akona Globetrotter?
The Globetrotter is covered by Akona's limited two-year warranty. DiveCatalog.com is an authorized Akona dealer, so bags purchased here are eligible for that coverage.
