What does the OMS OM50203 conversion do?
It converts an OMS AirStream first stage from a yoke (INT) tank connection to a DIN connection. Yoke first stages clamp over the cylinder valve, while DIN first stages thread into it, so the conversion lets the same AirStream first stage be used on cylinders fitted with DIN valves. Will this fit any first stage, or only the OMS AirStream?
It is intended for the OMS AirStream first stage; contact us to confirm it fits your regulator before ordering. Can I install the DIN conversion myself?
We recommend having the conversion done by a qualified regulator service technician. Changing the tank connection on a first stage means opening a high pressure assembly, so the finished regulator should be reassembled to specification, pressure tested and leak checked before it is dived.
Should I choose DIN or stay with yoke?
Choose based on your cylinder valves: DIN threads into the valve, yoke clamps over it. Converting lets one AirStream first stage serve DIN valves.
