The Mares SLS Slide and Lock System (Large) is a next-generation ballast system designed for secure and reliable scuba diving gear setup. This diving weight pocket system provides a clear visual indicator to confirm proper attachment and helps prevent accidental release during dives. Built for convenience and safety, it features a durable zippered pocket and a user-friendly locking mechanism suitable for use even with thick gloves.
Using a mechanical slide-and-lock design, the system ensures precise alignment of the pocket with the jacket’s attachment point. A color-coded padlock indicator changes from red to green when correctly engaged, offering a quick visual confirmation underwater. The large model provides a 6 kg weight capacity, offering ample support for most diving configurations.
