The Quad Air scuba dive computer is a user-friendly device with excellent battery life. Its display is clear and easy to read, providing instant access to important information. The user interface is divided into three segments for depth, time, decompression, and cylinder pressure. Mares has optimized the display by highlighting the most important parameters in larger numbers, while the secondary parameters take up less space.
The Quad Air has several strengths, including low battery consumption, allowing for up to 150 dives with standard commercial batteries. It also offers the integration of tank data for up to three transmitters (sold separately). The transmitters feature LED indicators with color coding for quick and intuitive communication.
Operating the Quad Air is convenient regardless of which arm it is worn on, thanks to mirrored buttons on the dial. The device also includes features like the 'Runaway Deco Alarm' and 'Deco Dive Planner' to ensure safe diving experiences. Additionally, the Quad Air offers the multi-blend function, allowing for the use of three different probes and mixtures in a single dive.
To access the Quad Air logbook and future upgrades, users can download the Bluelink Pro. This device utilizes low energy Bluetooth technology and a dedicated app to provide dive information on a PC or other compatible devices.
