Mares Entry Level Scuba Package

The Mares Entry Level Scuba Package puts a complete rig together around the Mares Magellan HD buoyancy compensator, a back-inflate BCD built on a monoplate backplate with 420 D Cordura and 180 N of lift. It comes with a standard weight system using two removable weight pockets, knife grommets and elastic bands for gear storage, a roll-down zippered pocket, and five stainless steel D-rings for clipping on accessories. Pick your size from XS to XL and choose the color that suits you: Black/Aqua, Black/Black, or Black/Blue.

Air delivery comes from a pair of Mares octopus regulators: the SXS, built in ultralight technopolymer with a lateral exhaust tube and a Superflex hose that mounts on either side, and the Octopus Dual Adj, which adds an adjustable breathing knob and Vortex Assisted Design for smoother breathing at depth. The Mission 2C rounds out your instrumentation with a pressure gauge and compass in one console, angled so you can read your air supply and heading at the same time, with a manometer rated to 300 bar in a shockproof case.

For dive planning, the package includes both the Puck 4 Mission 3 console and the Puck Lite wrist computer, each running the Bühlmann ZH-L16C algorithm with adjustable gradient factors and a user-replaceable battery good for up to 100 dives. The Puck Lite adds nitrox compatibility from 21% to 50% and single-button navigation, while the Puck 4 Mission 3 pairs a phosphorescent dial with Bluetooth syncing to the Mares app. Together with the BCD and regulators, this gives you the core gear to get started diving with room to grow into your own configuration.
