Important: This item is a Hollis CRIB component and is not a complete BCD. It is designed to be used as part of a backplate and harness system and must be paired with other compatible components to form a full buoyancy compensator setup.
The Hollis CRIB Custom ST 35 Wing is a single tank donut-style buoyancy compensator wing designed for divers who require additional lift capacity while maintaining a streamlined backplate configuration. With 35 lb of lift, this wing supports heavier steel cylinders, additional exposure protection, and accessory equipment commonly used in advanced recreational and technical single tank diving. The circular bladder design promotes even air distribution, helping maintain horizontal trim and reducing air trapping during buoyancy adjustments.
This wing is part of the Hollis CRIB (Custom Rig Integrated Buoyancy) component system, allowing divers to personalize their setup with functional components and custom color options. The ST 35 Wing is constructed with a rugged 1000 denier Cordura outer shell and an internal urethane bladder for durability and long-term reliability. Integrated cam band slots allow direct mounting to a single tank without requiring a backplate, while reinforced stainless steel grommets provide compatibility with backplate and harness systems.
The low-profile shape keeps the wing close to the diver’s back to reduce drag and improve hydrodynamics. An elbow inflator assembly and rear overpressure relief valve (OPV) provide controlled buoyancy management and safe air release. Its larger lift capacity makes it suitable for cold water diving, steel tank use, and configurations carrying additional equipment while retaining the compact footprint of the ST series.
