The Hollis CRIB Custom DT 50 Wing is a high-capacity buoyancy compensator wing designed for double tank technical diving configurations requiring increased lift and stable buoyancy control. With 50 lb of lift, this wing supports twin cylinders, stage bottles, and additional equipment commonly used in extended range, cave, and wreck diving environments. The design focuses on maintaining consistent trim and controlled air distribution even under heavy underwater workloads.
This wing is part of the Hollis CRIB (Custom Rig Integrated Buoyancy) component system, allowing divers to build personalized backplate configurations with performance-focused components and custom color options. The DT 50 Wing features a durable 1000 denier Cordura outer shell combined with an internal urethane bladder engineered for long-term reliability and resistance to wear in demanding diving conditions. Its dual-cylinder compatibility ensures balanced lift distribution across double tank setups.
Reinforced stainless steel grommets allow secure mounting to standard double tank backplate systems, while the low-profile donut-style shape helps reduce drag and improve hydrodynamics. The wing is equipped with an inflator assembly and overpressure relief valves to provide controlled buoyancy adjustments and safe gas venting. Its higher lift capacity supports heavier equipment configurations while maintaining streamlined positioning close to the diver’s back.
