Product Information
The Halcyon Zero Gravity is a sidemount harness and wing system developed with cave and sidemount divers in Mexico for divers using aluminum 80 cylinders in a wetsuit, and it has also been used with steel cylinders and drysuits for cave exploration. Its 23 lb (10.4 kg) U-shaped bladder omits both the top and bottom air cells found on conventional sidemount wings, keeping buoyancy along the torso in line with the cylinders. That placement reduces the need for trim weights, lowers drag, and leaves less bladder exposed to snag on rock or wreckage.
The fully adjustable harness uses fixed D-rings and includes waist D-rings on both hips so aluminum cylinders can be clipped forward as they become buoyant. An adjustable bungee system accommodates different regulator configurations, the inflator can be mounted on the left or right side, and the door-handle attachment has three positions. A butt plate with cylinder attachment rails secures the tanks, and an optional weight pouch holds up to 15 lb. The modular design allows the components to be configured to the diver.
