Product Information
The Halcyon Photon is a compact LED dive light built around a Cree XM-L2 (U4) emitter with a narrow 9-degree beam, which makes it usable as a primary light for recreational and night diving or as a backup light for technical and cave diving. It runs on three C-cell alkaline batteries, which are included, and produces about 850 lumens on high for roughly 3 hours 20 minutes or 550 lumens on low for about 5.5 hours. Fitted with two optional 26650 lithium-ion cells, output rises to 1200 lumens on high for about 3.5 hours and 550 lumens on low for about 7 hours.
The body is machined from AL6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized finish, a tempered glass lens, and triple O-ring sealing rated to 200 m (656 ft). A twist on/off switch avoids buttons and magnets, and the regulated driver holds brightness steady while overheat and reverse-polarity protection guard the electronics. The light measures 21 cm (8.27 in) long with a 5 cm (1.97 in) head and 3.5 cm (1.38 in) body and includes an engraving area for personal marking.
