Product Information

The Boost is the simple end of the Tacx range and the one that asks least of your setup. It is a wheel-on trainer with a 30 mm roller and a magnetic brake, and it needs no mains power at all — nothing to plug in, nothing to position near a socket.

Resistance is set by a 10-position lever that clamps to the handlebar, so changing effort does not mean reaching down mid-effort. Two sets of eight permanent ferrite magnets provide up to 1050 W and 17 Nm of torque, with a 1.6 kg flywheel giving 9.2 kg of mass inertia.

ANT+ and Bluetooth broadcast speed and virtual power to phones, tablets, bike computers and training apps. The frame folds to 565 x 410 x 245 mm and the whole unit weighs 8.5 kg, so it stores against a wall rather than occupying a room.
