Product Information

HRM 200 is the straightforward chest strap in Garmin's heart rate range — the one to fit when you want a chest-measured heart rate signal for training and nothing more complicated than that.

A chest strap reads the electrical signal of the heart directly, so it responds faster to interval efforts and holds up better in cold weather than an optical wrist sensor. This one runs up to 12 months on a CR2032 cell at an hour a day, and the battery door opens with a quarter turn using a tool built into the strap slider — no coin hunting.

It broadcasts on ANT+ with no connection limit and Bluetooth Low Energy with three simultaneous connections, so a watch, a bike computer and a gym app can all read it at once. Water rating is 3 ATM. XS-S fits a 60 to 85 cm chest; M-XL covers the larger range.
