Product Information

GPSMAP 65 is the multi-band member of the GPSMAP handheld family. It receives on more than one satellite frequency and across multiple constellations, which is what keeps a position stable in canyons, under canopy and against rock walls where a single-band receiver starts to wander.

The unit runs up to 16 hours on two AA batteries, carries 16 GB of memory for added mapping, and drives a 2.6-inch sunlight-readable colour display behind a chemically strengthened glass lens. It is IPX7 rated and connects over high-speed mini USB with NMEA 0183 compatibility.

If you want the same receiver with a barometric altimeter and a three-axis compass, that is the GPSMAP 65s, which we list separately.
