Product Information
Foretrex is Garmin's wrist-mounted navigator: a small monochrome unit worn on the forearm or clipped to gear, running on two AAA batteries so a resupply weighs almost nothing. Battery life reaches up to 100 hours in default GPS mode and up to 1,000 hours in expedition mode.
The 2.2-inch monochrome memory-in-pixel display stays legible in bright sun and works with night vision. The housing is IPX7 rated and MIL-STD-810 tested for thermal, shock and water on the bare unit, and the strap mount is QuickFit compatible at 26 mm.
Foretrex 901 Ballistic Edition adds an Applied Ballistics solver for long-range shooting calculations. Foretrex 801 is the navigation-only model and is offered both with the strap and as a bare unit without it. Use the two options to pick the exact configuration.
