Product Information
These are the collar-mounted halves of the Alpha system: the unit that rides on the dog and reports its position back to an Alpha handheld over Garmin's MURS radio link, with a stated range of up to 9 miles in open terrain.
The TT 25 is the tracking-and-training collar. It adds stimulation, vibration and tone alongside the position reporting, so a handler working an Alpha handheld can correct and recall without switching devices. The TT 25 with Tracking Beeper is the same collar with an integrated beeper for upland work, where an audible mark matters as much as a dot on a map. The T 20 is tracking only — in the United States its vibration and tone functions are not available, so it is the right choice when you want location data and beacon lights without correction.
All three run a user-replaceable rechargeable lithium-ion pack and charge over USB-C. TT 25 and T 20 ship with the standard pack; the extended pack is sold separately and roughly doubles the stated run time. LED beacon lights are built in and can be switched between colours from the handheld, which is what actually finds a dog at last light. Collar straps up to 1 inch are supported.
