Product Information
The Dive Rite XT4 Second Stage sits above the XT2 in the range, pairing a pneumatically balanced valve with a finned metal heat exchanger. That exchanger pulls heat from the surrounding water into the valve body as gas expands, which is the mechanism that resists free-flow in genuinely cold water.
The housing is compact and streamlined, reducing drag and the profile presented when a second stage is stowed on a necklace. Venturi-enhanced airflow and an adjustable inhalation resistance knob let the diver set the breathe to preference at depth.
Teflon-coated internals reduce friction and wear, and the XT4 is compatible with oxygen-enriched mixtures when prepared and handled to the appropriate standard. Left and right hand configurations are produced for sidemount and long hose setups. The XT4 weighs 9.4 oz (266 g).
