Product Information
The Dive Rite Mariner 65 Wing takes a different approach to doubles aircell design, optimizing the balance point rather than raw lift placement. Sized specifically for 8-inch steel doubles, it carries the capacity for multiple stage and deco bottles. An extra wide oval shape wraps around the sides of the cylinders to just below the top of the tanks, positioning lift higher relative to the weight of the cylinders for noticeably greater stability.
Curved sides keep gas at the highest point in the arc across the full trim range, so the diver can hold any angle without the wing pulling to one side. The center panel is wide enough to accept a standard metal backplate without pinching the aircell or the zipper against the cylinder wall, and that same width pushes gas out to the sides of the tanks where it stays stable rather than underneath them.
Construction uses durable 1680 ballistic nylon with SuperFabric® brand technology panels at high-wear locations. This configuration ships with a 16 inch elbow inflator, and two 1 x 3 inch gauge pass-through grommets provide additional hose routing options. Made in the USA.
