DIVE RITE WEIGHT POCKET SYSTEM 12LB

The Dive Rite Weight Pocket System 12LB is a quick release (QR) weight pocket set designed for warm water diving or for divers who require a smaller amount of trim and ballast weight. The set includes two pockets with a combined capacity of 12 lb (5.44 kg), holding up to 6 lb (2.72 kg) per pocket. The system is compatible with any harness using standard 2-inch (5 cm) webbing, including the Dive Rite TransPac, TransPlate, Basic, and Deluxe harnesses.

Each pocket secures weight using a low-profile 1-inch (2.54 cm) quick release buckle combined with a hook-and-loop safety flap, which helps keep weight in place during the dive. If weight needs to be ditched in an emergency, the pocket releases with a pull of the red tab. The pockets accommodate block-style dive weights and can be mounted with the opening facing up or down, based on diver preference. Two 0.75-inch (1.9 cm) webbing loops on the back of each pocket slide over the 2-inch waist webbing, and a 2-inch (5 cm) stainless steel slide locks the pocket in place once positioned, preventing it from shifting on the belt.

The pockets are constructed from 1680-denier ballistic nylon fabric, providing resistance to tearing and abrasion during regular use. Due to their compact size, the pockets occupy minimal space along the waist belt, leaving room for D-rings and other accessories.
