Product Information
The Bigblue STRB-RGB is a rechargeable LED dive strobe with four selectable colors for signaling underwater. It flashes 1500 lumens of cool white light (6500K), 360 lumens of red, 120 lumens of blue or 900 lumens of green across a wide 270-degree beam. Bigblue intends white for maximum visibility, red for preserving night vision and reducing disturbance to marine life, blue for standing out in low-visibility water and green for high-contrast team recognition.
A body-mounted push button with a battery level indicator controls the strobe and is easy to operate with gloves. It flashes 120 times per minute while the battery is above 20 percent and 60 times per minute below 20 percent. The rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery provides up to 8 hours of burn time and recharges in about 3 to 4 hours.
The anodized aluminum alloy housing is tested to 150 m (492 ft). The strobe weighs 179 g with the battery installed and has -88 g of buoyancy. It comes with the 18650 battery, a charger, a lanyard and a 3 L dry bag.
