The MTX-RC first stage uses a satin plated brass body with heat exchanging ribs, plus an over-moulded first-stage endcap and environmental diaphragm that help prevent ice build-up in cold water. Its over-balanced diaphragm design keeps performance consistent as you descend, and five medium-pressure ports, four of them on a rotating turret, along with two angled high-pressure ports, give you room to route hoses the way you want. The second stage has user controls so you can adjust breathing performance to your preference, and the regulator comes with a tactical style messenger bag for travel or everyday use. The MTX-RC is also tested for octopus use to 60 metres under EN250A, which is what makes it a solid match for a second second stage in this package.
